SUMMER MUSICAL THEATER CONSERVATORY PROGRAM 2012

COURSE OVERVIEW
Established in Summer 2006, PeachCraft's  Musical Theater Program has rapidly achieved a distinguished reputation amongst the summer musical theater programs. The professional musical directors and choreographers, the guest artists, the quality of our working space, the casting of the talented individuals and the excellence and quality of the production have clearly set us apart. The SMTC is designed to offer people between the ages of 10 and 18 the chance to experience top-tier professional level training and artistic development in a safe, nurturing and creative atmosphere.  The four week intensive workshop culminates with three fully staged productions of the Beauty and the Beast, music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashen and Rice and a book by Linda Woolverton.

The morning session of each workshop run at PDVF typically focus on specific performance exercises and exploring the diverse styles of Musical Theatre and the afternoon will focus on the production rehearsal of the show with voice: solo and choral, choreography, dramaturgy, improvisation, theater games and staging. The SMTC program takes place from Monday, June 25 through to Saturday, July 21. The hours are from 9:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday. Classes are not optional and a full commitment is required in order to attend. Students may not arrive late nor leave early during this program unless stated prior to acceptance. 

Please note PeachCraft does not accept responsibility for students on the premises beyond the scheduled program hours. Should early drop-off or late pick-up be desired there is an additional $15. per hour charge and this arrangement must be made in advance of the date scheduled.

TUITION:*  $3200.
MATERIALS FEE :  $280. this is fee is a non-refundable materials fee and due upon acceptance to the program and in addition to the tuition.
*Please note there are no PDVF scholarships or sponsorships available for this short program.

VOCAL CONSERVATORY ONE OR TWO WEEK INTENSIVE WORKSHOPS

COURSE OVERVIEW

The Young Talent Musical Ensemble selected for this intensive workshop are taught comprehensive and versatile vocal technique with emphasis on the breath flow, eliminating tension and therefore allowing the singer's natural sounding voice to develop. All students will develop
a vocal repertoire suited to their individual voice and ability. All students will perform in the Conservatory recital hall for family and friends upon the completion of each session. Please contact the Vocal Conservatory to schedule.
