"Kate is amazing. Kate and PeachCraft took Chelsea's acting skills beyond where we thought they could go and now a number of opportunities are coming her way." - Susan Meyers

"I miss having you as an acting coach and being in class with everyone! I love my classes here in LA, but there are no actors studios that have an "ensemble" as close, supportive, comforting, unique, or fun as Peachcraft. And there is no Kate Kennedy on the West Coast!" -Tyler Shamy

"I just wanted to thank you for all your extra-ordinary hard work this summer.  You gave the kids a wonderfully positive experience and I know that my son had a great time and learned a lot.  I enjoyed every performance of the show, the talented kids, and getting to know the other moms as well as yourselves." - Julia Frankel

The Modern Drama Workshop is designed to give the student actor the opportunity to work on contemporary text for the purposes of voice, movement, script analysis, motivations, characterization, improvisation and heightened awareness using the classic techniques of Constantin Stanislavski and Michael Chekhov which are the foundation techniques studied at PeachCraft Stuidios. The text required for the course is To The Actor by Michael Chekhov.

The students will be assigned scene work with another actor and guided by the acting director. Participants will work in an ensemble limited to 10 actors ranging in age from 12-18. The student artists material is chosen with their own particular needs in mind.

Classes are not optional. Each student must be available for the entire session enrolled as we treat this time as professional rehearsals daily. Students are expected to consider these workshops are professional training and to build the ensemble.

Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement in the Actors Studio.
