Founded in 2005, PeachCraft Studios offers the only acting programs in Summit, New Jersey taught by Los Angeles Casting Director, Kate Kennedy. The in-depth training Kate offers is inspired by Stanislavsky, Michael Chekhov, Stella Adler and the modern technique developed through Kate’s 20 years of casting Feature Films for the Major Studios in Los Angeles, Sag Commercials and Network Television. Kate’s approach gives the students a clear understanding for the process of acting preparing them for all aspects of a career in film, stage, and television. The instruction is comprehensive giving the actors the necessary skills in the fundamentals of movement, awareness, script analysis, psychological gesture, improvisation, voice, speech, monologue, cold read and scene study. The actors work on-camera and are guided through their process by viewing in order to measure and evaluate their work in order to make practical adjustments. All students participate in each class.
